I posted the below in the TDI forum, but have been advised that I'd get a better response here... Didn't even know there was a VAGCOM section!

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place... I'm terrible with forums and wouldn't post a new topic unless I really needed help!

Could anyone help diagnose this for me:

VAG-COM Version: Release 303.1

Chassis Type: 1M - Seat Leon
Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,17,19,22,35,46,56

Address 01 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 038 906 012 FK
Component: 0000SG 3357
Coding: 00002
Shop #: WSC 06441
VSSZZZ1MZ2R078047 SEZ7Z0A1379586
2 Faults Found:
17563 - Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71): Short to B+
P1155 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
P1557 - 35-00 - -
Readiness: N/A

Address 08 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 1M0 820 043 D
Component: 1M-CLIMATRON
Note: Excessive Comm Errors

I'm not entirely sure what this means, or what I need to check, obviously the easy answer would be to take it to a garage, but, like everyone else, money is really tight!

Anyways, the car keeps going into 'limp mode' at about 3000 RPM (not all the time, and I believe it is more likely to happen with a cold engine...

The car also feels less gutsy than it was before (although it may be because I'm used to it now )

The car has done about 61000 miles, just coming up for service and is a 2002 110 TDI (none PD).

Unfortunately this is my first diesel (and first car I've been able to plug a computer into), so any help would be much appreciated!

Also, if it's not too much to ask... Any ideas on this one:

Address 46 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 1C0 959 799 F
Component: 3M Komfortgerát HLO 0003
Coding: 00259
Shop #: WSC 06441
1 Faults Found:
01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
36-00 - Open Circuit

Although that isn't very important at the moment, to be honest!

Thanks in advance
James

Right the central conveince problem have a look here:-

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=200104

I've just had the same problem.

With regards to your engine based faults I had something similar on my old cordy. If you remove the engine cover inspect all the vacuum pipes for defects. There should be a pipe wish goes from the top of the inlet manifold to the ecu on mine the end had become fraid and was throwing the car in limp mode, it was intermitant like yours, if it has gone at the end find a small jubilee clip cut the friad end off and reattach. Simiple fix. Then clear the faults drive and see if it comes back.

Other causes if its not the pipes are faulty turbo or faulty N75 valve, but I think more likely to be a vacuum pipe.

If I remember correctly the Manifold Pressure Sensor is part of the ECU so hopefully the sensor hasn't gone for a ball of chalk.

I know it has been such a long time since I first asked for help, but I finally got the map sensor changed, unfortunately, while celebrating and giving the car a nice italian tune up (well as italian as you can get in a spanish car with a german diesel engine in soggy Lincoln!), the car went into limp mode again >.<

Anyways, vag-com gave me this:

Chassis Type: 1M - Seat Leon
Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,17,19,22,35,46,56

Address 01 -------------------------------------------------------
Controller: 038 906 012 FK

P1557 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: N/A

:censored: Any ideas on what I can try next guys?

I also had a turbo hose blow off the car about a month ago, one underneath the turbo, but that is no very securely held on...

Anyone want to buy a Leon?

Thanks again guys :)
