Iv got a facelift MK2 Cupra and was wanted to get something to talk to the car with to see error codes etc. I also want to enable some functions like the remote boot release etc. I think the ODBEleven Pro should do all I need or is the Ross tech VAGCOM worth the extra money? I have an android phone and access to several laptops so no extra costs bar the unit it's self.

I think the only reason Vagcom would be worth the extra is if you wanted to do real time logging. But then the real time logging is only any good if you know what your looking at.

. Me either. I bought Vagcom when I had my FR+ to log a random power loss. I caught it on the live data graph. But still didn't help me find the cause or fix it. :roflmao:. On the Cupra I just used Carista to set the options I want. I use Torque for live data and error codes (which I think was free).

I'll be happy with the code reading and option enabling. I'm sure the long coding will keep me occupied for a while. You currently get double points for the apps where they have already down the long coding for you.
