VAG turbo cupra TDI

anyone had trouble with a cupra disel?
i had it mapped two years ago by Jabba and it has blown two factory standard turbos.
i am buying a VAG turbo from Turbo Dynamics, any advise on this would be nice, hope every one had a good chrim bo

you sure you haven't got a blockage in the oil supply to the turbo?

You don't rag it and then switch it off or rag it from cold do you?

thanks for replying
no i dont rag it. first time it blew was the oil pipe there was a bend in it, but now its the bearings.
what about boostage?
if i dont reply i might have to nip out and will reply when i get back, walking everywhere

Well it's the oil that lubricates/cools the bearings. :think:

This should not happen but my mate had problems with his fabia tdi 130 with the blt engine. He blew 2 std turbo's with a angel re map. He thinks the blt (05 or 06 ) is not so keen on re maps cos of the tight emission settings on the ecu. The older ASZ engine ok though. He did drive like a --at all the time and never put oil in it so that wont help.

cheers for the advice guys. hopefully this new turbo and map will be fine and the power will be less , about 195
