VAG head unit into my ibiza

Is it possible to fit a double din head unit from another VAG car into my mk4 ibiza ?
I dont see why not but just checking with you lot.

the new units are can bus operated; generally 05 onwards,it'd get a bit complex but it can be done

I've been looking at after market ones and they are pretty much the same price but with better features so probably just get an after market one.
