vag com steering module address

HI all,

im looking to adjust my steering weight but cant seem to find the steering module in vag com!!!

can anyone tell me the address so i can directly access it?

car is an 05 mk4 ibiza.

ignore me, it is there under chassis! address 44.

anyway my car was set to 111! so i have wacked it up to 151 then to 161. the drive to my girlfriends will see what its like and ill report back.

i used 121 and been happy with the right weighting, i also tried 131 but that was too heavy for my liking for normal driving

Hi all,

i always hated how light the steering was when initially set on 111.

So i tried 151 and it was a bit different and settled on 161 which is quite a lot better on the motorway, maybe too light on slower roads and a tiny bit heavy at a standstill but over all however it is much better then before, i may try a heavier setting a bit later.

well worth it.


out of interest does anyone know the cupra setting?


now i need to see what else i can tweek with the joy of VC!

I think the Cupra has the same setting. I stiffened mine up for a while but it got too heavy with the larger tread area of the Cupra wheels so put it back to standard..

Would this tweak apply for all Ibiza's?

I have one of those Rocket-Ship 1.2's!
