i bought the cable and software from ebay, the software worked fine for the 1st and 2nd go and then the program started to crash on me...:( is there certain models that the software is not compatible with? or is there any other software that can be used for fault scanning? can someone point me in the right direction please. i'm running the program on windows xp btw and my car is a 2002 seat toledo tdi. thanks in advance:)

My main problem was with the USB lead I had got from Ebay, it was very temperamental and would only work in one port for a couple of times before it went peculiar. I had to keep changing the port in order for it to work consistently.

If you're wary about the software, could I recommend that you get the shareware version from Ross-Tech? At least then you can identify whether it's your lead or the software that is causing the crashes. Or you could uninstall and reinstall the software that you have?
