VAG-COM needed in Lincs area

Hello

I recently bought a 2000 Seat ibiza Cupra 20VT, I removed all the seats (carefully unplugging the front seat airbag wires) and used a Vax carpet cleaner on the seats. I then refitted the seats and plugged them back in and I now have an Airbag light on. I understand from previous posts that I should have disconnected the battery before removing my seats this is why the Airbag light is now on. Can anyone in the Lincs area with VAG-COM please help me remove these fault codes.

If not any idea what a dealer will charge?

have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 mins since?

No but I will try it now, do I have to put the standard alarm into valet mode or anything?

ive got the cable and vag com on a laptop but they wont likn together if you have a laptop i may be able to loads vag com on to yours and use my cable!

I have tried the battery disconnection and it didn't work.

How long is your vagcom lead gazjones as I have a pc about 2m from the car but alas no laptop?

Assuming it plugs in near the fusebox (MK3 ibiza) 6ft won't quite do it, but thanks anyway. I'll have to see how much Ilkeston Coop Seat or M G Raws will charge.

Just to let you know I got my car fixed today by a Local VW specialist M.G. Raw. As we suspected 2 airbag faults were found: interupted power supply on the drivers seat and on the passenger seat, they have been cleared and now my car is fixed.

M.G.Raw is on allenby industrial estate and he only charged me £20.
