Vag-com license

What does it get you? i.e. how long does it last for 1 year or forever? Can you update the versions of Vag-com using the same license.

It doesn't seem to say anything about that on the site.

I think it lasts forever and you buy the licence to the version you want. Think the licence is only something like £60.

Do you know if that is the same with all i.e. if i buy a cable and the license?

Also can you buy just the cable without the software as I currently have a 3rd party cable i'm worried I will buy the software and then the cable won't work which will mean i've got to buy the software again just to a cable.

You can buy either the cable or licence separately. Loads of people on here using a 3rd party cable with licenced software.
