Vag.com Key Matching?

Hi Peeps,

Theres a procedure for VAG.com for remote matching your keys...

but unfortuantly mk3's don't have 35 or 46 modules it seems...

is it listed anywhere else in Vag.com?

Any help appreciated?

Which model are you talking about? MK3 Ibiza? Have you actually tried connecting to 35/46?

mk3 ibiza yeah...

i think 46 should work but just comms out......because in the auto scan 46 is listed as what it scans.......as part of 6K (my model of ibiza)

I want to find the place where it has the keys logged to the ECU...

Have you tried lowering the baud rate on the cable to connect to it?

im 99% sure its just not a feature for the mk3 ibiza

The locking and unlocking sequence is enough to code the key without Vag com plugged in!
Thats how i did mine anyway, and it worked first time.

yeah i know how to do that, was just interested in looking in to it in VAG.com

also i have some HELLA keys i wanted to test to see if i could get to work as they won't program the traditional way...

how do you lower the baud rate?

If you have a KEY or HEX series interface, there is no need to alter the baud rate. Based on the info you supplied and the type of remote we are talking about here - this system is not diagnostic capable, which is why you can't reach it.
