Vag Com Faults

Hay lads just been playing with vag com free version till I buy the activation. Anyway I was trying tor eset the airbag light to no avail but did come accross these fault codes, have posted in the vag com area as well but though more ibiza people might be to help anyway here they are:

5 Faults Found:
01271 - Positioning Motor for Temperature Flap (V68)
30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent
01596 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
30-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
01596 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
41-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent
01596 - Motor for Outside/Recirculated Air Flap (V154)
29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent
01596 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
28-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

any help much appreciated

the thing that is mentioned more than once is that the motor for the temp. flap & the recirculation flap is shorting out ( at a guess, this could be the same thing )

Loose wire maybe

would this be to do with the climate control / air con system?

you probably won't be able to reset anything or alter any settings untill you hand over some dollar!

where did you buy the vag-com lead from?

Have you had any luck resetting your airbag warning light yet? I need mines reset too so keep us posted on how you get on.

Also, I've seen this VAG COM cable on ebay, would this work ok?

Where do you get the software from? and will this work on a Mac laptop.

sorted the airbag light was pretty easy lol.

I bought this cable as recomened by an SCN member.

this came with all the info needed to connect it to the ibiza. As for MAC I havnt got a clue mate

Think i'l order one of those from ebay. Just remembered that i can run windows on my mac so should work fine.

I have very similair. Something to do with the air recirc, EdButler will tell you what's going on

Resull I tested with the tiral and bought a vag com liscense today £50 as the exchange rate to $ is bloody class at the min. Nearly £2 to every 1$ so half Price wooop lol

And tom did u solve the problem?
