VAG-COM Error 17705 & 17545 on Leon Cupra
Have been getting intermittent Engine Mangement Light coming on, so bought an OBD II cable and have used VAG-COM to get details of any faults.
Got two problems reported. First one is reported as
"17705 - Pressure Drop between turbo and throttle valve (check D.V!) P1297 Intermittent"
Has anyone had this problem? What was the cure?
Also 17545 which the shareware version of VAG-COM won't decode for me.
Car seems to run fine - a bit lumpy in the morning, and occasionally stutters after it's been driven hard-ish!
BTW lots of people asking where to get a cable from. I got my cable off ebay and would recommend it. I got it off member "alpha-bid" in the US, and it cost less than £20, was delivered quickly, and seems to be high quality. Even has a blue LED to show it's connected to the car properly. The cable i bought was the serial version.
