I'm in the middle of replacing the vac lines on my cupra.

So far I have changed the ones going to the n249 (thingy on top of coil packs) for 3mm silicone tubing.

Can I use 3mm for the top of the dump valve, fpr, and the egr valve. Had a look at the existing tubing from the d/v and 3mm looks a bit tight.

What have you all used?

I have searched and looked at philw's post in the faq section but I can't see anything specific regarding the d/v and fpr tubing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well they've changed there tune quite quick then lol. They've always said 4mm for aslong as i remember. I did use 5mm all round on mine when i had it tho lol.

4mm will be perfect tho mate and 5mm if you need a bigger line for the DV (i.e. if you run a turbosmart one)

You wont feel any diference bud, its just personally preference really at the end of the day. If you've already got 3mm on there then you may aswel leave it as it is but if you change them at some point id go for 4mm
