usb port and seat connect app

car is a 2016 lean 1.4t fr with the large screen with 4 buttons down either side. THe nav works, phone with text ability (can you voice text? )or is it manual write only?

What is the connect ability to an android phone? i have a single usb in the car. What is this for. what can i do with my phone and the cars infotainment unit. Any advice or tips would be great. any tips or skills it can do that i do not yet know about. Thanks.

ps does the mode setting ready make any difference?

Thanks, I just did Android auto and saw a few apps off the phone. Some didn't really show anything like messenger or messages. I also had no netflix app showing. Can this unit play videos from the phone or not?

Messages show up on the phone setting though.

Does any one use this as a function or just listen to the radio or use just the Bluetooth phone functions instead. Is it more a gimic?
