tried a search but to no avail, does any1 know roughly how much new front brake pads and disks will be supplied and fitted to the Mk4 ibiza...just started grinding today...passenger side totally worn down  ! will need to be done in a kwik fit style place as car has 1st MOT next week (this is what happens when other people drive your car and dont bother to tell you when things need replacing):censored: :ban:

Give a supplier a ring, they stock them scn don't! ;)

the reason i posted this thread was because i was at work and couldnt ring around the various different places and was just wondering if any1 had an idea how much...anyway for future knowledge i got them done at McConnachies for £168 with an anti wear guarentee for as long as i own the car so if they wear down (which brakes do) they replace them FOC!

Car has also now passed MOT with flying colours

do you really need new disks already, surely the pads are the only thing that needs replacing, easy to fit yourself too

yeh the disks needed done, altho the car is a 2004 model its done 86,000 miles of around 70-80% country road driving, hardly ever sees a motorway my car except on jaunts to glasgow and england! lol!

Just going slightly off topic...despite the fact that the car has had a hard life, its been great...only 1 or 2 niggly wee problems and a new front end (due to a :censored: in a 106) who decided to pull out onto my side of the road when i was about 10 yards away from her (she was hot and i got her number so that was a consellation

I had 4 sets of brakes on my ibiza, standard ones got upgraded after 1.5k miles to 312's, they lasted till maybe 15k miles, then changed to standard 312 setup again, then shortly before i crashed upgraded to zimmerman x drilled discs and redstuff ceramic pads. that was at 25k miles.
