Hi i have a 1.8t FR think the engine code is BJV/BJX

Looking to upgrade the clutch for a hybrid setup, iv seen that on the MK3 some people have used a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch is this possible on a MK4?

Either that or just going from the oem to a sachs clutch kit would that be enough?

cheers,

Paul.

Ive gone for the single mass flywheel and sachs clutch as i didnt want to have to take the gearbox out again when another DMF (dual mass flywheel) broke.
It is a little bit more noisy but nothing that bothers me really, i just accept the fact that i have the strongest setup for my car and thats that :D

I've still got the standard clutch/flywheel on my car bud, no problems as of yet and it's been over 6months. That includes a RWYB day at santa pod too. You may as well wait for it to start slipping a bit before you uprate it, might as well get as much use as possible out of it.
