Hi all, ive searched but cant find a answer, im sure on here ive seen a thread about uprated coilpacks, but cant find it

I have the push down coils and have replaced 2 already, i know you can buy the bolt down ones but generally it seems these go same rate as the push down ones

It looks like ill end up buying 4 new bolt down ones but was wondering if anybody has found 'uprated' ones, my mate got spitfire ones for his skyline, is there any sort of equivalent for ibiza so they dont go all the time

Any advice much appricated

Can someone help me please, I have have now blown my 3rd coilpack in 6 months, it is the same one everytime, I think its because there a cheap make.

I wanted to get the bolt down ones anyway, i currently have the push in ones on a AVP engine

will these fit http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=33

If so I will order 4 tomorrow, also does anyone know where i can get the bolts and rubber seals from? part numbers?

Please someone reply

Thanks
Mike

I don't have a clue mate, but could it possibly be a different problem that is causing the coilpack to go?

I have owned my car 2 years and none of my coilpacks have went, (reaches over and touches some wood) I must just be lucky as i ead about them going all the time on here.

No such thing as uprated ones for the cupras mike. Those in the link will fit as the part numbers cross reference with the originals so they'l fit straight on. The dealers would be the only place to get the gaskets tho but dont know the part numbers sorry mate

M87NER - I will let u know tomorrow the part numbers, i just said on the phone about the bolt down ones and he said he knew what I was on about and it was for the AQX engine instead of the AYP, and he said a few boys with cupras had been in for them so he just ordered them for me

Hi guys, well today finally had time to fit them, got pics and part numbers for you all!

First off heres a pic of them all fitted nicely

First off the coils -

The Rubber seals -

The Bolts -

For some reason I was given a pack with 6 normal bolts in, and a pack with 2 longer ones, which I had to cut down in the end to match the rest as I could not be bothered to go back to Seat for 2 bolts

Part Numbers -

Bolt Down coilpacks - 06B 905 115 E
Rubber Seals - 058 905 261 A
6 Bolts - N 101 174 05
2 Bolts - N 903 382 04

Hope this helps
