hi guys I'm just wondering what would I need to swap my k03s turbo for a k04 turbo? I bought the car and was told it has a stage 2 remap but I have no proof, there is other stuff that the car has had done but I'm curious whether it has or not, could do with comparing with someone who has their car modded that lives closer and knows what they are on about as I'm sick of throwing money at it and getting ripped off.

thanks for reading

Hi mate. This is in the wrong section, this is FAQ's...You may want to move it as not many people will see it here.

The stage 2 map should be easy enough to test, you just have to find out how much boost it's running. Do you have a boost gauge fitted? If so then what PSI are you running? If not then either VCDS or even the torque app can tell your boost levels.

how do I move it to the FAQ'S section? thank you for your reply, I don't have a boost gauge as had to disconnect it as the pipe was pancaked and I think the gauge is faulty as it doesn't sit dead on the 0 when the engine is switched off.

No problems mate, this is the FAQ's, you just need the mk1 section which is here. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21

You need to scroll right down to the bottom of the page and use the "New thread" box at the bottom. The "new thread" box at the top of the page is for this section, the FAQ'S. A bit confusing i know.

Do you have an android phone, if so then you can download the "torque" app and use one of these OBD2 adaptors to get a rough idea of boost. It's not as accurate as a boost gauge or VCDS but it's close enough. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-ELM32...637863?hash=item23701a76a7:g:97EAAOSwU-pXuGYQ
