Tickets to the MotorSport Vision group’s four British Touring Car Championship fixtures in 2008 – at Brands Hatch, Oulton Park and Snetterton – have gone on sale at discounted prices if booked in advance.
Race day prices are fixed across the three venues – FREE for children aged 12 and under and £22.00 for adults if booked via each circuit’s website (see below) or £23 by calling the MSV ticket hotline 0870 950 9000. On the day adult admission is £27.00.
MSV’s BTCC fixtures in 2008 will include the season’s opening and closing rounds – both to be staged at the world-famous Brands Hatch circuit in Kent on Sunday 30 March and then Sunday 21 September respectively. Finals Day will be held on Brands’ legendary full-length Grand Prix lay-out.
Meanwhile, Snetterton’s fixture on Sunday 13 July is the BTCC’s only visit to East Anglia in 2008. The event is one of the fastest on the calendar due to the circuit’s notoriously high-speed lay-out.
Oulton, near Chester, marks the only visit of the year by the BTCC to the North-West on Sunday 27 July – this year the picturesque parkland track produced the closest race finish in BTCC history when Colin Turkington (RAC BMW) beat eventual champion Fabrizio Giovanardi (Vauxhall Vectra) by just 0.046s.
