Ive posted this else where and got no reply so Im reposting this in here.

I need new discs and pads and don't want to spend money on a Brembo upgrade, Through my work I can get Brembo plain discs and pads for around the £100.00 mark. (280mm)

Will this be better than OE? and worth the extra money?

Cheers :)

What pads can you get? Bill does the 280mm brembo discs but they're elliptically grooved. A set of ferodo d2500 pads and you've probly got the best set up without changing calipers and disc size.

I'd second that, thats the route im going to go when my pads are worn out! For the money and performance you just cant beat it!

At the minute i've got EBC green stuff pads with EBC grooved discs. I thought they were pretty good but have read some bad reviews. I think i'll be speaking to Bill about getting some ferrodo ds2500 and eliptical grooved discs, no point in skimping out when it comes to brakes.

I have a price for Grooved Brembo Discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads from Bill... What's the life-span of these?

I understand it can be hard to say, I will only be doing 1 trackday this year, so they wont be having a hard time on the car..

Yeah I was wondering what life span they have for road use?
