The unlock button the remote of my Leon MKII FR TDi has stopped working! All other buttons work (boot and lock) however to unlock I now have to unlock using the key and then do the start engine within 30 seconds thing. Any reason why one button would stop working? Would it be covered under warranty?

I am sure I remember DanGB say he had the same fault mate. I am sure he will be along to say one way or another.

Sounds like a fault with the key, should definately be covered by a warranty, well worth giving the dealers a call and seeing what they say. Does the spare key still work propperly?

Not tried the spare key as I'm just using the remote key. I've arranged to call in at the dealers on Friday to have it looked at. They said they keep a few spare fobs in stock so might be able to get one sorted there and then. At least I can still lock it on the remote though so the alarm will work.

Hopefully will be - it's been in at the dealers so much lately I'm sick of it now! :(
