I just noticed today that my driver's side rear is lower than the passenger side.

I measured the difference and it's exactly 1 inch lower.

Any ideas folks? The car doesn't feel any different to drive.

Due 60K service soon so will probably get it looked at then.

Welcome to my world, i currently have a post open regarding this, i have had all coils, shocks and front strut bearings replaced at large cost and its still uneven, i am getting the rear struts replaced this friday, hopefully that will solve the problem. I will let you know how i get on.

Thanks for that mate - sorry to see you've also had suspension issues.

My LCR rear hasn't always been lopsided, I only noticed mine at Christmas after a 400 mile motorway sprint. Pretty sure it was fine before that as I always give it a good visual check when I wash it (which is weekly, usually).

No difference in the handling, and no weird noises either, even when going over some severe speedbumps.

Yeah, i have no knocking or weird sounds from the suspension and i drive on Irish frickin roads!! handles the same, mine happend about 3k ago, thats how long it has taken to get it fixed, the Dealer didn't want to know about the problem and fobbed me off. When i replace the rear strut tops and i still have the issue, well i don't know where to go then, hopefully it will fix it though.

Strangely, my LCR seems to have fixed itself!

Since Xmas the drivers-side rear has been an inch lower than the other 3 corners.

When washing it on Friday I measured the distance from ground to wheel arch and all 4 corners were the same. Strange!

Also, I had a full tank of petrol at the time so can rule out that idea :p

anyone ever get anywhere with this.

Currently im on coilovers, the right hand rear sits about 2 inches lower than the front, to which i have to have the bump stop, spring, and coilover wound up, to get it to match a no bump stop, no adjusters (just the spring pretty much) on the left hand side

Strange that this is all reported on LCR's and not just LC's... my thoughts are the common factor between them all over the LC's is the Antiroll bar location and fixings?

Perhaps something to do with that, as they attached on the dampers rather than the wishbone?

Is the spring sitting on the rear suspension cup properly when lowered back onto the ground after jacking up? Sounds too simple but its another check to do

Mines done this before, I parked up and noticed the rear sitting higher one side, realized it only does it when when the wheels are turned.
