Hello everyone, need some help deciding if it's worth fitting this: https://www.racingline.com/mqb-underbody-brace
As it says on the website it improves handling and provides extra clearance for an aftermarket exhaust. I have a milltek gpf-back fitted and sometimes it used to rub on the stock rear tunnel brace. It was solved by fitting nuts where the brace mounts and that provided some extra clearance about 0.5cm.
So two questions,
1. For road and some light track use is it worth it? Will there be any noticeable improvement over the stock ones?
2. Does the solution my mechanic came up with has any negative effect on handling?
Car is now stage 2 and will be stage 3~500hp and 600+Nm within a year.
