Hi everyone,
So I've recently got my Leon 1.6 TSI 2006 and, as everyone else, I would love to play my own music instead of making tons of cds to play my whole playlist or just listening to the radio. I've noticed that I don't really have an AUX in but I have the option CD/AUX on the radio, so I assume that I can plug my phone an play music. So I managed to know that I have, as mentioned in the title, the iPod dock under the passenger seat. I've got an iPhone X so what I did was buying an adapter to connect it to my phone (just a simple cable that converts the iPod dock into a 3.5mm jack). As soon as I did it, I could listen to my Spotify playlist and I was like the happiest dude on earth. Then, after a few seconds, the radio decided to switch to radio mode again by itself. If you try, then, to press again the CD/AUX button it simply says "no cd", so I can't really connect it. It is like it recognizes my phone for a few seconds and then disconnects it. I've also noticed that if I turn off the radio and turn it on again in does the same thing exact thing. What could it be? I mean, it works but it doesn't, so I can't really understand what happens there. Might be the adapter which is not really quality guarantee (bought it from China for a few bucks)?
P.S I have a handfree device "Parrot" plugged in.
Thanks for your help!
