my cupra is lowered by 40 mm. at the moment its running 215/40/17. can i run 225 45 17 or will it rub.
whats other people running

Isn't 225/45 R 17 the stock tyre size?

Yeah that's the stock size. I'm running 18's and lowered and I do get scrubbing on the inside of the wheelarch on full lock and when the suspension moves going round a roundabout you can hear it tickling the arch liner

hi mate.im running continental 235.40.18 on my standard cupra r wheels and im lowered 50mm no issues even with a full car.

cos its running 215, 40 17 at the mo and it just looks pants. tyres look too thin. will try get a pic and see what you guys think
