I have just bought a new set of Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics, and I cannot praise them enough! Awesome in the dry AND wet! The reviews all rate them very highly too.
They are the best tyres I have had. Only other tyres that come close are GSD3.

The only drawback is they are £100 per corner, but I think this is money well spent. Tyres are one thing I will not try to save money on cheaper/lesser products.

If you want to something a bit cheaper, I can also recommend the Falken 452. Good all rounder at more affordable price. One to avoid however would be the Pirelli P-zero. Not bad in the dry, but horrible in the wet.

I've got Goodyear F1 Aysm's on my fronts, craking tyre for grip, but I do think they can be a little camber sensitive. Tracking is spot on, had it checked at the weekend. I think I'll try Falken 452's next.

I'm not like you guys...
i work for a high performance tyre centre, and as has been said, Goodyear F1 Asimetrics are very very good, you also cant go wrong with Dunlop SP9000's. If your looking for a more cheaper tyre, Accelera (tornado) are also quite good considering the price.

Michelin Pilot Sports are exceptionally good, very grippy in wet/dry conditions, only criticism is that they can wear quite quick.

The new goodyears out at the moment, that are meant to be the dogs danglies, are Goodyear OptiGrip. A Premium brand tyre that has scored very good marks in traction in wet/dry conditions
and a good rate of wear.

Also if you can get hold of them, as goodyear are fading them out for some reason!?, Goodyear F1 GSD3.

Another goodone but getting rarer every day, is Bridgstone SO-2. Strong sidewalls meaning good rate of wear, but keep an eye on pressures if using these, as with alot of bridgestones (especially runflats), they are prone to wearing the shoulders.

Robs Recomendations: Michelin Pilot Sport2,(go for 94 load index, bit strong sidewall) Goodyear F1 assimetrics; GoodyearGSD3; Goodyear OptiGrip; Dunlop SP9000; Vreidstien; Sava (made by goodyear/dunlop), Accelera (economy brand).

Yoko always score well in traction, but wear and tyre noise is an issue.
Pirelli's, in my opinion are shite. Bad traction and tyre wear.
Falken are an alright mid range tyre i guess, good for what you can pay for them
I wouldnt really stray to any other tyres as i wouldnt trust any other eco makes.
Might seem cheaper at the time, but they will wear out quickly.
