Decent tyres for the fronts will range from £220-260, budget tyres will be less but you run the risk. Typical tyres range from the standard Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's to the much acclaimed and recommended Goodyear GSD3s.
As for the other q's, I cannot answer.

i wouldnt go to a main dealer for tracking as they use basic tracking equipment and normally just set the front wheels. where ever you go you need to make sure they have a laser line four wheel alignment so they check the geometery (tracking, camber and castor) on all four wheels. they will set the fronts to match the back instead of just making the fronts even. have your tyres worn uneven ?

Passenger side front has worn more than the driver's side, and the car pulls to the left a bit.

Hoping that it's just a minor tracking issue.

Mate

You may find this is a "they all do that sir situation"

Mine MY03 LCR has always tracked to the left and several peeps on here have the same issue

Laser alingnment may sort it but there are a couple of massive threads knocking about on this so have a search and a read

Thanks for the info guys. I did a search and found quite a few threads about the LCR pulling to the left. I would have thought that Seat should be investigating this? Is just a LCR problem or do all Leons suffer?

If my steering wheel is central, then the car goes straight, let go of the wheel and it gets pulled to the left. Not a huge problem, as the natural weight of my right arm on the wheel keeps it straight, but it's annoying.

see if it still pulls when your centre of the road over the white lines. most cars pull left as they are just following the natural camber of the road. if the front tyres hav'nt run the edges of its ok. the diff will cause the front tyres not to wear the same but as long as they've worn even across the tread thats normal.

Well, I found one reason for the pull, the passenger side front wheel was 8 PSI under! :(

Inflating that has lessened the effect. :)

Still pulling to the left, and it's not due to the camber.

Need to get a new pair of tyres on the front and get the tracking sorted.
