I had uniroyal rainsports. The handled well till the sidewall exploded for no reason (No, i didn't hit anything) mid corner which resulted in me getting a nice curbed alloy as it dragged me into the curb. So i changed all 4 just to be safe to TOYO T1-R and with 1300miles on so far i must say i am impressed with the level of grip in both wet and dry although we dont get many dry moments. Plus the tread pattern looks good for behind:lol:

I just bought TOYO TR-1's they look great but haven't yet got to see what they are like yet as the weather is icy up my way.

Prefer the t1-s's . Heard plenty about the t1-r's feeling un-easy. Even my local toyo dealer isnt impressed by them.

Picking up 4 x t1-s's tommorow :D

used to run goodyear eagle F1s and they are brilliant to say the least, but at £117 (205/40/17) each a lil pricy, so am now running on toyo proxies t1-s's, very good tyres, not as good as the goodyears in my opinon, but still very good tyres, better value for money

Had T1Rs on my old VR6. The tyres handled the 270hp it was producing perfectly well. I really rate the Rs, much better than the T1S imo.

Toyo told the dealers to increase tyre pressures on cars fitted with the r's, by ~3-4psi to counteract the effect.

Will stick with the S personally, until they out of stock.
