Tyres 215/45/17 or 205/45/17

Is anyone on here running their car on these tyres? Wantin to know if they scrub or not before i buy some, car is as standard at the minute considering lowering it 30-40mm cheers in advance

At a Shell garage..
Dont know about the 45 profile, but Facelift FR alloys and as far as Im aware Cupra alloys run 205/40/17.

Im down on coilovers and had no rubbing issues.

I run 215's but not lowered at the moment. I'd say if your lowering by 30mm they would be fine (they didnt scrub when i had a car full+luggage weighing the car down)
Maybe 205's the safer choice if your worried about scrubbing but i prefer the ride of 215's and the extra rim protection personally

Im currently on 205/40s but want to go to 45s for that bit of extra protection as i live out in the country abit and the roads aint the smoothest lol!!

just man up, run 205/10s....... it will look dub......
(btw dont listen, im bored and trying to work, really i would stick to 205/40 and they should be fine in the countryside :p)
