tyre Rating... ??

Hi Guys and girls.

Im going to be changing tyres soon. and am looking at some options.

Something confuses me though (not hard I hear you shout)

Anyway... What rating should i go for? The current ones i have are Z rated.
But the beeza doesnt go faster than 135 mph so do i need a Z?
W takes you up to 168MPH...

Is that all it means, what your top speed should be? or will a Z handle/last better than a W for instance?
Its just that they are alot more expensive.
Also wonder if they might make a slightly more comfy ride due to not being so "hard" as it were..

no mate!! its alot to do with the load ratings aswelll

if u had a 94W as to a 89W for example. the tyre is capable of with standing alot more weight not just the speed rating itself.

and as for lasting longer! the tyres will be exactly the same wear wize theres just more strength in the sidewalls

Tyre stations cannot lower your speed rating now (bye law) anyway they can only upgrade your rating not decrease it

but a Z seems over kill surely? speed wise etc...
What would you guys recommend then?
