I was just checking my tyre pressures and looked at inside the petrol cap.

I never drive with a full load so I looked at what the correct pressure for this should be. I might be reading this wrong (so apologies if I'm being daft and someone tell me if i am! :clown: ) but it seems to suggest that with normal load you should run 38 and the back and 35 at the front.

So my questions are:

1). Does this seem a bit high to anyone? does to me.

2). Why differing pressures at front and back. I've never come accross this before.

cheers

Not really high tbh? IIR I used to run about 38 all round on the LCR, depends on the tyre. TVR state 24 for the front and 26psi for the back for mine which just sounds wrong!

it is high ish but not massively so - my 306 HDi used to have 36 in all tyres so its close.

running different front and back is fairly normal - i would say that cars with the same pressure in them front and back are in the minority.
