Anyone else have this. And do you know how it works?

Im looking to change my wheels, and I know from renaults there is a sensor mounted inside each wheel. Im hoping that it just works using the abs sensors for rotation measuring.

Can anyone else clear this up, but Im not sure Im even making sense.

Just as you're expecting it to be ... it's not measuring the pressure, as it doesn't have any special valves.
It's just comparing circulation statistics given by ABS sensors on a regular basis.

So don't worry about changing wheels ... just do a recalibration afterwards and everything should be fine.

btw. we are discussing the 5P Altea/Toledo model range ... just to make sure, as there is no hint (besides that renault feature) which car you're supposed to put on new feet ... ...

Yip its the altea. I havent really been in the other forums yet exept tdi tuning
