Tyre noise - do I need to get the geometry reset?

I've been reading the forums looking for help with the dreaded rear wheel running noise which is driving me mad on motorways.

I finally need 4 new tyres and am getting rid of the hell that has been the factory fit Bridgestones and am going to get some Goodyear Excellence instead.

My question to you is do I just need to get a standard 4 wheel track (costing about £25) or do I need to look for a specialist to reset the suspension geometry and camber? Dealer quoted me £92 for this!

I'm based in Milton Keynes if anyone has any recommendations.

My car is an 06 plate mk2 Leon TFSI Sport (predecessor to the FR).

Thanks in advance for your advice.

WIM (wheels iin motion) at Chesham do the absolute full monty and are really really obsessionally good- well worth while when you think of the expense of a full set of tyres. They have a sister company on the same premises (Black circles) who are competetive on tyres and they fit with the same attention to detail. They read the coloured lines on the tyre which denote the exact point of best balance and fit matched sets- nitrogen filled!!
If you want the best set up they are excellent and will get it right!

I have no connection with them but that of a satisfied customer.

Thank you for the link. I'll give them a call and see what they say.

Having looked at the website, their sister company is called Blackboots.co.uk. Not to be confused with blackcircles.co.uk.

Thanks again for the response.

Just back from Wheels in Motion. Excellent service and it cost £69 to get a full assessment of the suspension setup and to change the camber angle on the rear two wheels.

The camber was -2.3 and -2.2 and the rear wheels with the current target being -1.20 +/- 0.3. It's now been reset to -1.19 and -1.17. WIM said that SEAT have reduced the target camber from -1.4 to -1.2.

Now I just need to get the tyres replaced and hopefully my beloved SEAT will be a hell of a lot quieter to drive. :)
