You looking for budget tyres? I know some good ones but seems to be frowned upon to mention budget tyres so PM me... ;)

Not sure of any deals but tbh the vat is only £2.50 per £100 so not crippling,
but still not good. an extra 10 to 15 for the four.:(

What sort of mileage do you think you get out of a pair of 452's; both motorway and sunday blasts!?

Are they grippy in both wet and dry conditions, as I find the F1's are very good in the wet?

Mine is undriveable at the moment if you want to use a heavy right root. 1st, 2nd, 3rd & on the colder or wetter days, 4th gear spinning too. However these tyres aren't new and in the dry they are ok but they contribute to a fair amount of wheel hop I feel.

Im going for the 452's when my new TDi is delivered at the end of the month. Im upgrading the alloys from the 16"'s to SEAT sport BBS 18"'s.The 452's seem to be creeping up in price everytime I check. Blue circle are doing them for £86 at the mo. Check out http://www.rboffers.com for discounts. You should get at least 5% reduction using their codes!

ATS are best for tyres, 10 quid each and they have new machines that dont even touch the wheels = no damage :)
