the obvious choice are eagles but how much do you have to spend... also think about going to B+T in bletchley because theres not much in it once youve added fitting and balancing. they'll do 2 Falkens in 225/40/18 for 150 fitted .

As above price isn't always a true reflection.

I am running 4 Falkens and they are very good. Can't comment as with everyone else whos fitted em it's a bit soon for actual tyre life but some people have gone through F1's and Proxies in 4000 miles so we'll see. :)

At the moment I am not overlooking anything...

Falken ZG 512s or GRB FK 452

what's the difference?

I've just checked black circle vs event (mobile tyres)

And the goodyear F1 Aysmmetrics are 138 at black circle and 117 and event (for the LCR)

I find that a pretty nifty saving!

i've used event before, very good service!

I'll be needing some more very soon, i currently have 17" wheels on the car 225/45/17, but am buying some LCR 18" wheels, what profile tyre will i need on the 18"? and does the size affect the speedo on ie if too big, the speed displayed will be incorrect?

Hudds you want 225/40/18. The rolling radius will be near identical as your dropping from a 45 profile to 40 but are increasing the wheel size by similar.

Speedo difference will be negligible for that change.
