Turner confirmed in SEAT Sport UK's BTCC team

Darren Turner, a former Formula 1 test driver and BRDC/McLaren/Autosport Young Driver of the Year Award winner, will contest the full Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship for the first time this year when he drives a SEAT Leon in all 30 races, alongside his SEAT Sport UK team-mate Jason Plato.

The 32-year old professional racing driver from Leamington Spa made his BTCC debut last year, finishing 3rd in his first ever race at Thruxton.

As much as I liked Thompson, I think the team suffered from not having a fixed line up so this is a good move by Seat. We won't be seeing anything like at Silverstone though with all three cars running
