Heres my log from sunday for anybody thats interested:

yeh totally standard

Nothin to worry about mate. Only worry if ur hitting 100's for a long period of time. How often do you rev it past 6000rpm anyway. The power drops off way before then anyway.

seems all OK right up to the end of the run. I wondered if maybe it was a spurious result, or replicated?

95% is 'ideal' but then I've seen a "custom" mapped k03s golf sat at >95% w/g duty all the way (though personally I think that is bad)

Sorry for thread hijacking, but this might be usefull :)

If you copy and paste the above logged data into notepad and save it as name.CSV then open the file with Excel, its in a much more readable and eye-friendly format :)

Just thought I'd drop that in. not sure what you get these logs in the first place they might already be a .CSV

What do you mean by that M0rk?

Is there anyway i could get it down to say 95% to make it ideal? Or is that just the way it is and will stay?

The file saves itsself to .CSV so not really sure how i could make it more reader friendly?

I'll dig out my logs, but mine drops to about 70% then back up to about 80ish towards redline on a k03s, like its hardly trying.

Thats the kind of thing id be hoping for, Mine was doing abut that last weekend when i was running on T7, but since going up to T9 its been working that bit harder, Idealy i dont really want to drop it back down as it feels alot better with HB9 T9.

Any ideas what could be making the turbo work that hard at the end? And how it could be brought down a tad?

When you say adjust the waste gate alittle do you mean wind the actuator rod out alittle? if so how many threads are you showing phil?

Wind it in. But make sure you do it with logging, as you dont want to wind it in too much and overboost and throw it into limp mode. Took me an evening to do mine really.

I'll measure mine and dig out my logs tonight for you, but i suggest measure it now, wind it in and log, and repeat until you see some figures your happy with.

That would be great phil cheers, Ive got the JKM RR day tommrow so ill think ill leave it till after that just incase i muck up and cant
get it back to normal. Im pretty sure i have 12 threads showing as normal from when i measured it before it got fitted.

So i should be looking for around 80ish in the percentage colum measuring block 115?

Cheers.

I think its alright for a decent RR figure mate, your maf figures and boost look alright so its putting out the numbers. Maybe i'd play with the timing on lemmiwinks then.

I was thinking of downloading tht once ive finshed cleaning the car, how would i go about adjusting the timing and what to via lemmiwinks as i havent used it before? I found the download and have the cable so that isnt a problem.

Cheers.

You need to pull the fuse for the dash lights to do it. Ignition on and advance the timing, cant remember what channel it is, by a degree and log each time. Use it the same way you would a SPS3, only adjust in conjunction with logging. I'd be lookin at max of 3's on the CF's at full load for a RR day as the intake temps are generally higher than on the road.

Cool. Happy to help, just keep playing and logging.

Does it feel better? As i read you can gain quite a few ponies from playing with the timing.

Really interested to see what you get now as i'm gettin roughly the same logs with the same mods.

Hope it goes well. :D
