turbo flange

hi i have a lc and wanted to decat it,i have added a cupra r exhuast from back to cat,and was told that if i wanted to keep cat and do a proper decat then i had to get hold of a flange so that the new pipe can fit on it,i have tried looking but cant find one,seat told me that i have to buy a new exhuast/turbo manifold and would cost around 300,which is pointless,may aswel buy a new exhuast for that,any ideas please

I think what your guy means is a pipe that you can put back on, like a bolt in decat, you can decat by cuttin out the car and welding in a pipe section,
won't pass an MOT unless you have a very friendly tester!

Thanks,your right,but i forget to mention that i want to keep the cat and be able to put it back if I need to,if i dint need to keep the cat,then yeh as u said,the pipe can just be cut and replaced and welded,but need to keep the cat incase need to put it back,so need a flange to put the new downpipe and decat

Piper are currently working with the forum to make a new exhaust system for the LC - have you thought about waiting for that to be completed and then buying one of their downpipes and sports cats?

You could buy flanges from an exhaust company, Tiger, Powerflow etc...
they should be able to help!
