Turbo / DV noise increase

Hey,

I have run a search but couldnt find an answer to this. I've had my car for one week and 5 days now... and have noticed that my turbo spoiling up seems to be getting louder and louder each day...

Along with this.. i have a recirculating DV and it used to take me quite a bit of throttle to get a loud DV noise, now however as soon as i'm spoiling up at 0 boost and then letting off the acelerator it seems to just go off?

Any ideas?

So we're rev'ing the crap out of it to make it dump? on mine it would take quite a bit to make it do that.

Is it re-mapped? Do you have a aftermarket DV?

Split VAC hose ......

Yea it's re-mapped and running about 210 brake with 245 torque. It has an after market forge DV...

At first i thought it was all in my head but then my gf said last night that it seemed louder than normal.

went out in it last night.

boost gauage reading

start up 16 ish. after a driver 19 20 ish. (this is vaccum pressure)

its boosting round to 20 psi and droping to 18.

tried it in my mates coupe 20vt and the pressures are all the same. but his dv is louder.. but as stu said to me its drives fine.

Vac hose is easy to replace mate. wipe it off and have alook

replace all the hoses on the N249 with silicone ones I found a huge increase when i done this!

whats a dv leak test?

looks like a lot of stuff is silicone anyway to be honest i aint to sure what im looking at i drove a diesel lol
