Turbo chatter dump - Split R

My split-R's dump sounds a bit like turbo chatter, but saying that it also sounds like a group B racing diaphragm dump valve, like the ones on rally cars.
The car runs fine, boost guage is really sensitive (i expect due to my setup on the N249 bypass)

Can anyone shed any light on this? It sounds lush just want to make sure there isnt anything wrong.

I can provide photos of my bypass if anyone thinks this is the problem

Have you tried running on full circulation mode or the stndard dv to see if the chatter goes away.

Chatter means the DV is set too tight and is a bad thing, putting strain on your turbo.

Rally cars don't run dump valves BTW!

yep i agree with robdon its called boost flutter and it means its wound too tight , have a read of the split r instructions and keep loosening it a bit at a time till it goes away.
