Hi,

I am after a turbo back exhaust system for my mk3 ibiza cupra. Anyone else on here got one?

Also where would be the best place to get one and what make to go for?

I have sent a few emails to Miltek but I have has no reply! I would like to know what everyone's views are on turbo back vs cat back?

And of course prices!

Cheers,

Henry

I had the Milltek cat back system on my MK3. I had it fitted the day i picked the car up!! We sell the turbo back system at £604.08+VAT. This includes a 10% discount, and as of monday would work out at only £706.19 including VAT and carriage (15%VAT and £10 carriage :) )

mate of mine had ibiza cupra with ko3s and had it mapped with a full custom system. boy was that car fast. turbo back on his.

i had leon cupra with revo and downpipe n de cat. when i put the downpipe the restrictions it removed gave me a lovely increase in performance.

in my current lcr i have full turbo back exhaust , its brilliant.

our cars are turbo and the biggest restriction when mapped seems to be the downpipe as the back pressure is big with the extra boost.

my personal advice would be get yourself a turbo back obviously finances permitting, you'll love it. just my experience.

hope it helps.

P34CH3Y... As Sarah just said :p lol - was just a bit busy giving a talk down at the rolling road - back now and trying to thaw my fingers out! Milltek have the downpipes in stock so can have them within a few days.

HenryG... I'm sure she'll understand mate, just say "hey come on its christmas"

Id go for Blueflame mate. Had my turbo back on for 2weeks now and its the best mod ive had done to the car so far! Was really loud when i drove it out of blueflame but now its coked up its nice and quite when your just pottering about, then when you floor it it sounds like a full on snarling rally car! And i have to say its a hell of alot cheaper than then the Miltek one awesome quoted you. I payed 525 for mine and 35quid for fitting. Its got a larger downpipe than the millek aswell so better air flow all the way through the car. Its got 200 rate race cell sports cat and a nice big round oval which suites the lines of the cupra perfectly! And dont think that because its cheaper the build quality is not great, its really well made, was in the work shop when they fitted it and its of a very high quality.

You wont be dissapointed! Get one!
