TT225/S3 Intake Manifold??

Anyone know if an S3/TT manifold can be fitted to the Ibiza?

This is what I was wondering, cant remember if all 225 engines are large port ot not, if so I may just have to go large port head lol.

IIRC only one type is large port, not all of them. (although that maybe the golf engines)

Couldn't you port match the intake manifold to the head?

I'm sure i saw this being done in a copy of retro car mag.

Thats something I was wondering, are they the same blocks just ones opened up more than the other etc.

Isn;t the intake for the intake manifold on the opposite end on the 225/S3 as opposed to the Ibiza? or does this not matter?

No, S3 and TT225 are passenger side inlets iirc.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news re: idea #1 though.

Dunno if you wanna make anyone else aware of this, to stop them wasting money.

s3 is a small port inlet manifold and will definitely fit the ibiza and the outlet is the same side as the ibiza

Yep, but the manifold in question a Dahlback Racing one apparantly then won't clear the bonnet. I'd then have to cut the supports out of the bonnet and have a racing 'buldge' put in.

ive seen a s3 manifold on a ibiza cupra with no bonnet mods its fitted to my car

Yeh, but this is a Dahlback Racing one, its a larger chamber. Never seen one fitted to a S3 to see if they needed to hack anything away so cant comment.
