i had about 5mm taken off mine, used Audi TT hoses, redrilled discs, and god im impressed by stopping power of them.

using the audi tt hoses i just filed the little lugs of the outer of the lug connecting to the hard pipe, then just cable tied them out of the way.

great modification, however do not try and use STD hoses, they are far far to short and get stretched on half lock.

Audi TT hoses are a must, they are 200mm longer, I have a first line book with brake hoses listed, maybe be able to take a pic if anyone else is interested in this mod.

Deffo impresssed by it myself.

I've got a spare set of TT225 hoses (delivery miles only) if anyone wants to make me an offer for them?

more progressive than brembo's - but perhaps less good 'top end'

but I've not had them fade, especially not since I've fitted my CM pads.

if you can get the bits cheap, and machine discs yourself it's fine.
