Trying to fit forge TIP grrr help please

hi all

i have just got my forge tip and am having trouble removing the old tip i have managed to take out the rubber section but the alloy section that goes into the turbo seems to be be behind a stiff/metal pipe that i cant find the end of i have heard this should be a relatively easy install any advice pwill be greatly appreciated

Theres a bolt holding that alloy bit to the turbo.

You wait until you have to fit the new one past the metal water pipe

lol but the problem i am having is getting the old one off i spoke to backdraft in milton keynes and they said to take off the water pipe but i cant find the clip for it lol wonder how much they will charge to fit it

Have you undone the bolt on the alloy bit?

You don't need to take the metal water pipe off.

erm if by bolt you mean the two allen key bolts then yes they are off but the metal bit seems to be fairly loose but doesn't seem to be enough room to pull it off the collar

Theres only 1 allen key bolt that you need to undo?, undo it and pull the alloy bit off.

Can't remember if mine came out of the top or bottom but thats the easy bit....you wait till you try and get the new TIP back in

oh right lol wonder what the other bolt was holding on then lol yeah i have heard it is a bitch to get the new one on oh well at least its not raining today (yet)

The only bolt holding it on is the one on this side [facing us]
