What ya mean "non R" all cars work the same, facelift just poke through grill too and pre facelift cant due to the body trim in the way.

That'll be why I havn't seen any pics of pre-facelift then! I'll just have to wait till June to fit mine (getting the R bumper in June) :funk: :D

Right, finnnnnnally getting round to doing this!!

My main issue is that the FMIC pipe is right infront of the towing point. so need to have the old tow bolt pretty much flush with the hole it screws into. To save me some time - dont spose anyone has the measurement from the very end of the threaded end to X distance along its shaft to be flush with the hole?

if that makes sence?!! So I can basicly have the tow strap behind the FMIC pipe - it cant protrute any longer than plysicilly possible.

Thank you :)

been wanting to do this for ages one thing to ask is though , if you were to be towed would the jerking of car being towed not ruin the plastic grille , as there seems to be no movement for the strap to go up or down on them pics
when the tower is a numpty and not keeping the towbar/rope without slack

it happened to me years ago in my mk3 fiesta ,AA guy dragging me down the m5 then when turned off he was on and off brakes in and out of junctions and roundabouts and i was cacking myself as theres no brakes with no engine , i did say leave it in gear for vacume but he said no freewheel

any pics of this on non R bumpers please

have you not done it yet mark ??

i want one mainly for looks but work if needs be

do you have to cut the towing eye to have an extention or can you just bolt it straight on with the correct fitting bolt
