Basically when I get in the car the average MPG is automatically put to zero, and then records for the journey time.

I now want to average MPG to never reset. Is there any easy way to change this?

You should have two readings you can switch between, one being the single trip MPG average which resets itself after each journey and another which shows the average total which I think is the one your after!

It has two memory modes.

1. records the average MPG for that trip.

2. records average MPG of every trip you take, until you manually reset it.

Briefly Tap the reset button to toggle between the two. That will be £5.00 please ;)

mine does neither of these.
1 mgp screen shows average mpg for the trip im on
the second screen shows MPG as it is going.

Your pressing the switch on the end of the stalk that toggles between all the function.? You need to press the little button on the underside of the stalk. its in the middle of the stalk on the underside, marked reset. Press and hold to reset, briefly press once to go between the two memory modes.
