Can anyone on here help??????

My Black Leon has been parked under a Cherry Tree and whilst the tree has been blossoming its been dropping the bud part of the flower onto my car and they stick like hell.

I've wiped the buds off but some have left behind this green/black goo that wont budge. [:@]

I've washed the car with fairy liquied, as i thought that might degrease it and its helped but there are still some that wont budge!!

I'll have another go at the weekend but has anyone come across this before and what did you use??

What Martyn said is spot on.... you'll get a peice of clay and a spray... clean your car first, then spray the QD on the contaminated areas then rub the clay on the car, make sure to turn it keeping the surface clean... it is a daunting task at first, but its quite simple.

Don't use the QD that comes with it. Mix up a strong batch of wash with hot water. Then cut the bar into two or three pieces, this means that if you drop one piece on the floor you haven't ruined the whole lot.

Keep the pieces of clay in the hot water as this will keep them soft and maluable. Then use the wash mix as the lube for the clay, remember to keep stretching and folding the clay to keep it clean.

It's pretty straight forward, and you'll be amazed at what it removes. Before you start, put your hand in a plastic sandwich bag and rub your paint, you'll see it's very rough, then do the same when you've clayed an area and it will feel like glass.

The clay session will remove all wax's on the paint though, so make sure you give the car a nice treat afterwards.
