I travel a lot of miles to work and back and have been averaging about 30mpg from the LCR. Just popped into the dealers today and been offered 12.5k for my car against an ex demo Toledo 2.0 tdi sport with 8k on the clock. I'm seriously considering it, but that boot????

What do you think?

I doubt the toledo will hold its value any better than your leon. The only better thing about it will be the lower running costs. Imagine swapping from a car that looks as good as it does to the monstrosity that is the new shaped toledo :-o

the new toledo is an ugly duck in the highest degree.
its nothing like the th old mark 2.
have you thought about an ALTEA. its sexy has good looks with the same oil burner.
buy an ALTEA or wait for the new leon.

if you must trade itin, look at the leon FR, as it a good looking car.

But if you can't hold on till the new leon 2.0tdi ( which wil knock more off your motor) then go for a golf tdi 4-motion

I would think long and hard about changing to the Toledo, It may give you better fuel economy but your street cred has just gone up in smoke....

I would step out of the sun as it must have affected your judgement! I agree if you want something frugal look at the FR TDI as it looks the business and is economical. The Toledo is unspeakably ugly.

Why not get the 'old' shape FR+ TDI looks the same, well almost and superb on fuel. If you do PX and have recaros, ill give you a lot of cash and a normal R trim lol!!!

Everytime you drive past a LCR you will get that sad, sinking feeling :(

Run the cheapo diesel car into the ground and save your clean polished LCR for the weekend/summer ;)

You know it makes sense
