Traction light on, then off on restart...? Brake switch?

Hey folks!

Driving home last week I noticed the traction control light came on...

It's not the 'ESP' light, it's the light that has the circle type arrow with a car in the middle?

Anyhow, I wasn't driving it quickly and the conditions were dry etc.

I turned the car off, and back on again, and the light went off.

Now tonight, driving at a steady speed on the motorway, it came back on, but again, when I pulled over, turned off, then on, it went away...

It's under SEAT warranty still, so i'll take it in soon, but just wondered what it could be?

I just checked the brake lights came on, indicators, reverse, fogs etc, and all lights are working.

I know the light can also mean MAF as it did happen on my previous Cupra, but the fact it goes off after restarting is a bit odd.

After searching on here, a lot of mentioning of glow plug lights on, which the Cupra doesn't have as it's a petrol...

Any ideas? :)

Im also going to get SEAT to have a look at the thermostat, as I think it's opening too quickly, the temp gauge goes up to the middle too quickly, from stone cold, it's in the middle after about 3-4 mins.

Not sure if the broken wire issue affected petrol-engined models, it might do - but I suspect the wiring loom & where it mounts to the gearbox will be different.
I think the key clue is whether the light always comes on 10 minutes after startup.

Hmmm, I just drove to Halfords to pick up some speaker cable, and no light either way, journey was about 10 mins ish each way.

It's difficult, i'll get it on VAG Com later and see if the fault code is there.

Just thought i'd update this thread in case anyone has the same problem! Turns out its the 'YAW' Sensor?

SEAT are replacing it under warranty, good job, as apparantly the cost is about £450...
