Is there anyway to add it on a 1.6se? was doing a instrument test the other day on vag com and noticed its got the light for it but no buttons near handbrake etc.. and roads are quite greasy so would come in handy :p

probably not possible, but would be good if it is ;)

Traction control would only help you if you spun up pulling away - unlikely on the 1.6 in my experience. Really you'd want ESP to help you with everyday driving - not sure if it's possible - would be difficult I'd imagine

Just go easier on the throttle. For me, the traction control is a pain rather than a benefit most of the time, and that's on a mapped LCR.

Tyres make loads of difference. I remember the car I had before, spinning when I pulled out of my road (wet or dry).... I longed for Traction Control.

Now I have the LC with it, it doesn' t even come on as the tyres are so grippy!!
