Tracker, Cobra or others????

hi ya all just wondering if i could get a general idea of what people think of the above tracking devices. I should be picking my CUPRA up in about 4 weeks timeand was wondering what was the best to go for, namely insurance lowering insurance and what works the best.

Your opions please

i put a cliford alarm in my leon, didn't bring the insurance down at all.. put put my mind at ease. well worth it when u have such a great car. good luck with the cupra

The standard fit system is CAT 1 in the FR/Cupra anyway (and some of the other models too) - so you'll see very little benefit apart from peace of mind in fitting any additional gear

Here's a random thought I read on another forum..

In the event your car is stolen, would you want it back after having been stolen by some pikeys?
I'd rather have it replaced than spend the next few weeks decontaminating it.

On a serious note, it will have been ragged by the scum anyway, I certainly wouldn't want it back..
Apparently the Cobra Trak5 is very good, but again whether it's worth the cost is up to you.
See what difference it would make on insurance quotes and go from there.

Thats the way i look at it.... if my car gets taken then i dont want to see it again as 9 times outa 10 it would never feel or be the same as you had it before the theft.
